Woman arrested for drug possession in Arcadia
ARCADIA, Fla. — A Florida woman was arrested after police found her in possession of multiple drugs and paraphernalia on Thursday. According to the Acardia Police Department (APD), 42-year-old Aimey Corhn was stopped by police for an equipment violation. Upon searching her, police found 3.6 grams of cocaine, 0.1 grams of methamphetamine, 1.8 grams of marijuana, money and drug paraphernalia.

DeSoto County Career Criminal Sentenced to Prison for Drug Trafficking
A career criminal, Robert Steven Harrelson, of Arcadia, Florida, was sentenced to 21 years and 10 months in federal prison for possessing with the intent to distribute 50 grams or more of methamphetamine. The court also ordered Harrelson to forfeit a firearm and ammunition possessed during the offense. Harrelson was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Sheri Polster Chappell.

DeSoto traffic stop leads to home drug bust
DESOTO COUNTY, Fla. — An Arcadia man was charged with multiple counts of drug possession after a traffic stop leads detectives to his home. Colt A. Boatright,25, was stopped for speeding Tuesday afternoon. DeSoto County Sheriff’s Office and a K9 Officer conducted a search and discovered more than 50 grams of marijuana inside the vehicle.

Charlotte County boat motor theft linked to human smuggling case
