Teenagers arrested in attempted car thefts in Anne Arundel County, say police
GLEN BURNIE, Md. (WBFF) — Anne Arundel County Police arrested two teenage boys early this morning who they said were trying to steal cars. One boy is 16 years old and from Laurel. The other boy is 15 years old and from Middle River. Because of their ages, their identities are being withheld.
Police: Jail detainee put knife to kitchen worker in attempt to escape
ANNAPOLIS, Md. — A jail detainee charged in an assault did not get far, but police said he put a kitchen knife to the throat of a worker in his attempt to escape. While the victims were not hurt, both told the 11 News I-Team that it was extremely scary and they are now more concerned about their safety.
Man Charged with Assault Following Parking Lot Dispute
GLEN BURNIE, MD – On Wednesday, at approximately 9:00 p.m., police responded to an assault report in the 6600 block of Ritchie Highway in Glen Burnie. Investigation led to the arrest of Maylan Monroe Miller, a 55-year-old resident of Glen Burnie. Officers found that a minor motor vehicle collision in the parking lot had led to a verbal altercation between Miller and the victim. Miller then retrieved a straight stick, similar to a shovel handle, from the trunk of his car and struck the victim multiple times before leaving the scene. Police investigating gunshots in Glen Burnie, Vehicles Struck
GLEN BURNIE, MD – Multiple vehicles and a residence were struck by gunfire in the area of the 6400 block of Bricktown Circle, Glen Burnie. Northern District Police responded to reports of gunshots around 4:20 p.m. on Tuesday. Three spent shell casings were found in a yard in the 6500 block of Bricktown Circle. No injuries have been reported. Witnesses saw three suspects fleeing the scene. 2 men arrested following McKees Rocks shooting, police pursuit
Two men are facing several felony charges after police said they were involved in a shooting in McKees Rock and then led police on a car chase that ended in Robinson. Police identified the suspects as Steven Bryant Jr., 28, of Pasadena, Md., and Gaj Walker, 32, of Pittsburgh.
