Johns Hopkins pitcher throws disturbing amount of pitches in D-III title game
According to multiple reports, Johns Hopkins pitcher Gabriel Romano threw a 164-pitch complete game against Lynchburg in Game 2 of the NCAA Division III College Baseball National Championship. With the 11-6 win, Johns Hopkins advanced to a winner-take-all Game 3. That game has now been completed with Lynchburg picking up a 7-6 victory to win the National Championship.

Broadneck Baseball Softball Club’s 18U Colt Division team won the Anne Arundel County Baseball Cooperative league championship with a 4-2 victory over Lake Shore on May 24. The team capped an undefeated season with that win.
Green Hornets Get Past GORC To Take County Crown
The seventh/eighth grade boys Severna Park Green Hornets lacrosse team defeated GORC 9-2 in the county championship game on May 22. They were led by coach Evan Howard and went 11-1 on the year. Members of the team included Brayden Babcock, Chace Cinelli, Brayden Cox, Cristian Donaldson, Gavin Earle, Michael Ensor, Lachlan Ewing, Connor Hill, Brady Howard, Brooks Jones, Ian Langston, Brayden Larkin, Luke Lester, Thomas Lynn, Mason Madison, Gregory Mahoney, Colin McDonald, Benjamin Morgan, Samuel Ortiz, Parker Rabinovitz, Jonny Reneau, Nathan Riggins, Peyton Serpa, Jack Sweeney and Noah Turner.
Bowie Offense Trades Blows With Erie In 10-Inning Win
ERIE, Pa. – A thrilling back-and-forth contest on Thursday night eventually fell on the side of Bowie, as the Baysox overcame a late four-run deficit to beat the Erie SeaWolves in 10 innings. Thanks to a four-hit day by Cesar Prieto, two home runs by Joseph Rosa, and a game-tying home run by John Rhodes in the ninth inning, Bowie was able to pick up their third-consecutive win, 10-8. It was another quick opening for the Baysox, as Joseph Rosa and Coby Mayo both shot solo home runs to right field. For the second-consecutive night, Bowie chased the starter from the first inning, as Ty Madden could only face six batters before being pulled for Andrew Magno in relief.
Track And Field Athletes Compete At States
During the Class 4A track and field state championships from May 26-27, the Severna Park boys tied for third place and the Broadneck boys finished 20th. On the girls side, Broadneck placed fifth and Severna Park finished seventh.

The Broadneck Juniors A team brought home the girls lacrosse county championship with a 10-9 overtime win over a Kent Island team on May 21.
