Missing man found dead at Lake Christine outside of Basalt
Two men have been arrested in connection to the investigation of the death of an El Jebel man who disappeared on March 12, according to the Eagle County Sheriff’s Office. The body of Josue Isai Cruz Del Cid was found on Friday evening on the west end of Lake Christine outside of Basalt, according to a new release issued by the sheriff’s office on Tuesday morning.

The Colorado Department of Transportation will begin a highway improvement project on U.S. Highway 6 and Post Boulevard in Avon in April. The project will construct a roundabout with three legs that connect Highway 6 and Post Boulevard. The project will also install new asphalt and improve the approaches, drainage, signing and striping in the area.
Colorado Mountain College sets timeline for presidential search
Colorado Mountain College President Carrie Besnette Hauser announced Tuesday, March 19 that she would be stepping down from her role in August. Following this news, Colorado Mountain College’s board of trustees met on Friday, March 22 at the CMC Vail Valley at Edwards campus to discuss the search process for the college’s next president and chief executive officer. During the meeting, trustees held an executive session to establish a process to select the next president.

Superior, Wis.- The University of Wisconsin-Superior’s music department will honor a Northland native during a show in April. “Crossroads of the North” will be held on Tuesday, April 9 at 7:30.
