Brand New Thai & Sushi Restaurant Being Planned for Downtown Bucksport
Everyone needs access to good Thai food. It should be a requirement wherever one lives. When I lived in Southern Maine, there were several to choose from. And honestly, it was one of things that was kind of hard to cope with when I moved back to Bangor 10 years ago. Since then, a few have popped up that are great, but I think there's always room for more.

Do You Remember The Marden’s Lady?
All together now! "I should have bought it when I saw it at Marden's." If you think about it, there really aren't many retail stores quite like Marden's. To say that it is unique to Maine would certainly be an understatement, so it makes sense that they would have an insanely catchy jingle and back in the day, a very Mainer type of spokesperson. To this day, every time I stroll into Marden's in Brewer, I always think of both.
Here We Go Again … Bangor is Going to Get Dumped on This Weekend
Can we all agree that this is getting completely ridiculous?. Although, it's not like we can do anything to control it. I'm personally just sick to death of it. And yes, I may finally be reaching the point where I think I should just move away. To the delight of many, I'm sure. But this "winter", if you could call it that, has just been straight-up weird this year. This I think we can all agree on.
