Maine basketball stars lead teams to the Sweet 16
Maine natives are helping lead two of the top women's basketball teams in the country to the Sweet 16 of the Women's NCAA Division 1 basketball tournament. Anna DeWolfe of Cumberland scored 9 points, including a key basket partway through the fourth quarter, and added a highlight-reel steal in Notre Dame's 71 to 56 win over Ole Miss in the second round Monday night. The No. 2 seed Fighting Irish will now take on third-seeded Oregon State at 2:30 p.m. on Friday in Albany in the Sweet 16.
