Lewiston waterline project expected to cause traffic disruptions through July
LEWISTON (WGME) -- A heads up for drivers in Lewiston. There's a lane shift on Longley Bridge because the city has begun work on its new waterline project. “We've really tried to work with the city of Auburn as well as downtown businesses to minimize the impact of this project. We've worked with the contractors Gendrin and Gendrin and St. Laurent to try to look at schedules and hear from their ideas to really try to engineer so traffic disruption is minimized,” Lewiston Public Works Director Kevin Gagne said.
