The Rialto to open new ‘community-minded’ restaurant and bar
A German-inspired restaurant will open Saturday, April 20, upstairs at the Rialto theater in Bozeman. The “Bavarian concept” restaurant is inspired by German beer halls and will serve Montana bratwursts and European beers. It takes its name, “gute Laune,” from the German phrase loosely meaning “good spirit,” according to an April 15 press release from restaurant representatives. The restaurant and bar aims to be a “community-minded” gathering spot offering good food, refreshing drinks and a welcoming atmosphere. The menu will include vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options, as well as a kids menu.

BOZEMAN, Mont. - Both I-90 westbound and eastbound lanes have only one lane open near the Jackson Creek exit near Bozeman due to a multiple-vehicle crash. The Gallatin County Sheriff's Office said on social media drivers should be ready for an entire blockage of both eastbound and westbound lanes.

BOZEMAN, Mont. — Gallatin County District Court ruled Alexander Ledoux's bail be set at $250,000 in the vehicular homicide case that resulted in the death of Laysa Grewell. Ledoux, 26, of Bozeman is charged with killing Grewell, 22, after driving about 20 miles in the wrong direction on I-90, according to the Gallatin County Attorneys Office.

Bozeman City Commission announces new interim city manager
BOZEMAN, Mont. — The Bozeman City Commission selected the Chuck Winn as the new interim city manager for Bozeman. Winn will fill the position formerly held by Jeff Mihelich. Winn is known as the “longest-tenured city employee” and served the community as a volunteer firefighter. He continued his service and moved to higher ranking positions, including fire chief and then Bozeman’s Assistant City Manager.
