FRANKLIN (Somerset) - A South Jersey man has been charged with stealing $9,300 of lottery tickets from an Easton Avenue convenience store. Joseph Holman, 41, of, Willingboro, is facing charges of third-degree burglary, third-degree theft, fourth-degree criminal mischief and possession of burglary tools, and a disorderly persons offense, Somerset County Prosecutor John McDonald said.

Newton Softball Team Wins by Two Over Sussex Tech
NEWTON, NJ—The Newton High School softball team won 4-2 when they hosted Sussex Tech on Wednesday, April 17. Catherine Vena went 2-for-4 at bat with two singles and an RBI. Long was in the circle for all seven innings. Long mowed down 11 Tech batters and allowed two runs off three hits. She only had two errors and six walks.
