Brockton High football falls in overtime thriller to Lincoln-Sudbury
The Brockton High football team played its first road game of the season Friday night, and nearly emerged with its first win. Freshman quarterback Jayden Campbell snuck into the end zone on fourth down at the goal line to even things at 21 with 2:47 left in regulation, but it was L-S quarterback Cooper Tarantino who scored the game-winning TD on a run from 10 yards out as the Boxers suffered a 29-21 defeat in overtime.

NORWELL - Hazmat crews have determined white powder mailed to a home in Norwell is not dangerousThe crews were called to a home on Judges Hill Drive Friday evening after someone reported getting a large amount of white powder in a package. The fire and police departments also responded.Late Friday night, the white powder was deemed not hazardous. Officials believe someone was pulling a prank. Currently, it's not known if a criminal investigation is underway.
