Brooklyn motorcyclist fatally struck, pinned under car on FDR Drive: police

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A Brooklyn motorcyclist was killed after being rear-ended and pinned under a car on the FDR Drive Sunday night, police said.

Nathaniel Knight, 40, was zipping north on an electric motorcycle when he was struck near East 55th Street by the 19-year-old driver of a 2008 Honda Civic around 10:30 p.m. Sunday.

Police said that car was then struck from behind by the driver of a 2006 Civic, also a 19-year-old man.

Knight was pinned underneath the 2008 Civic and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The two drivers remained at the scene and were uninjured.

It wasn't immediately clear if charges would be filed. An investigation is ongoing.
