Second Double Shooting In a Week Kills Camden Man on Monday
CAMDEN – A double shooting on Monday night near the 1400 block of Carl Miller Boulevard left one man dead and another injured, the Camden County Prosecutor's Office reported on Wednesday afternoon. Camden County Police Department officers were dispatched at 7:03 p.m. to the scene based on a report of a person shot.CLICK HERE TO SIGN UP FOR THE FREE TAPINTO.NET NEWSLETTER Desmond Mark Williams, 56, of Camden was found with a gunshot wound and taken to Cooper University Hospital, where he died at 7:36 p.m. The second victim, a 23-year-old from Camden who was not identified by the prosecutor's office, is in stable condition at Cooper. Another double shooting occurred on Saturday night near 1600 Mount Ephraim Avenue, leaving 32-year-old Algie Harmon of Camden dead and a 43-year-old Camden man wounded. The prosecutor's office did not identify the man who was wounded.
