FORT MYERS, Fla. — A pedestrian was killed after being hit by two vehicles while trying to cross the street on his mini scooter in Fort Myers Monday morning. According to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), a 23-year-old man riding a mini scooter disobeyed pedestrian signals and tried to cross the road near the intersection of Six Mile Cypress Parkway and Daniels Parkway at around 8:10 a.m.
