New group supports homeless, to hold free Easter dinner
Rhonda Monroe knows what it is like to be homeless, and the Pickens resident recently started Walk with Angels, a group dedicated to helping get people back on track. “I was homeless about a month and a half when my kids were small,” she said. “I know how they are feeling. I’ve seen a lot of homeless people lately, and want to do whatever we can to get them a warm place to live and transportation, things they need to get back on their feet.”
