LEHIGH TWP., Pa. - A Stroudsburg man is being accused of shooting and killing another man in Northampton County last summer. William Arthur Strunk, 76, is charged with homicide, possession of an instrument of crime, and firearm not to be carried without a license, according to a news release from the Northampton County District Attorney's Office.

76-year-old man arrested in 2022 Northampton County killing, DA says
A 76-year-old Monroe County man is accused of shooting to death a Lehigh Township man last year at the victim’s home. Police called for a welfare check on June 29 found Michael Austin Powers dead in his home in the 4500 block of Lower Three Mile Lane in Lehigh Township, authorities previously said.

Nine Phillipsburg Juveniles Charged with Assault After Incident Walking Home from School
PHILLIPSBURG, NJ – In a joint effort by the Phillipsburg Police Department and the Phillipsburg School District, nine juveniles were charged today, March 27, 2023, walking home from the Phillipsburg High School and Middle School. In a Warren County Prosecutor's office statement received today, "The Phillipsburg Police Department responded to a report of an assault that occurred on Hudson Street." The juveniles were charged with one count each of aggravated assault and conspiracy to commit aggravated assault, both crimes of the third degree. "The Phillipsburg School District and Police Department will not tolerate violence against its citizens or pupils. All crimes will be investigated thoroughly and enforced to the fullest extent of the law," says the release from Prosecutor James L. Pfeiffer. The Warren County Prosecutors' office assisted in this incident, along with the Phillipsburg police and school district. All parties are presumed to be innocent until proven guilty. 9 Teens Charged With Aggravated Assault In Phillipsburg, Police Say
Nine teens were charged with aggravated assault and conspiracy after an alleged attack involving Phillipsburg middle and high schoolers, authorities announced Monday. The teens were walking from the schools before the alleged assault on Hudson Street around 3:30 p.m. on Friday, March 17, Warren County Prosecutor James L. Pfeiffer said in a joint release.

A Phillipsburg student was attacked while walking home from school and nine juveniles have been charged in the assault, authorities said. The Warren County Prosecutor’s Office said the incident happened at about 3:30 p.m. March 17 along Hudson Street in Phillipsburg. 2 men charged for illegally buying firearms, straw purchases
