City of Eagle Pass to Announce 2nd Annual Best of EP Winners
Eagle Pass, TX – City of Eagle Pass Mayor Rolando Salinas, Jr., and the City Council would like to inform the public that the winners of the 2nd Annual Best of EP – People’s Choice Awards will be announced on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. The official announcement will be held at the International Center for Trade – West Room located at 3295 Bob Rogers Drive.
Weapons Headed for Mexican Cartel Seized in Eagle Pass
The seizure occurred on Thursday, March 16 at Eagle Pass Camino Real International Bridge when CBP officers conducting outbound examinations referred a southbound passenger vehicle hauling a utility trailer for secondary inspection. Upon further examination, including the use of non-intrusive inspection systems, CBP officers discovered 34 weapons, 68 magazines and 461 rounds of ammunition hidden within the trailer.
