3 shot, one fatally, in broad daylight NYC gun violence: cops
Three men were shot — one fatally — in two separate broad-daylight shootings in the Big Apple on Monday, authorities said. A 33-year-old man was shot in the head on the grounds of NYCHA’s Ingersoll Houses in Fort Greene, around 11:10 a.m., cops said. He was taken to the Brooklyn Hospital Center, where he was later pronounced dead, police said. Another man, 21, brought himself to the same hospital with a gunshot wound to the left hand. He was listed in stable condition. Police could not immediately confirm whether either man was targeted. No arrests have been made. Hours earlier, around 8:20 a.m., a man was shot twice in the right foot and once in the left leg at East 156th Street and Westchester Avenue in the Melrose section of The Bronx, authorities said. He was taken to Lincoln Medical Center by private means, with non-life-threatening injuries. No one was arrested, cops said.

Man shot by ski-mask-wearing gunmen at NYC housing development
A man was shot and wounded by two ski-mask-clad gunmen at a Harlem housing development Sunday night, police said. The 24-year-old victim was blasted in the torso at the St. Nicholas Houses at 200 West 131st St. at around 9 p.m., according to the NYPD. EMS responded and rushed him to Harlem Hospital, where’s he’s listed in stable condition, cops said. The victim, who is known to police, was reportedly shot by two masked men who ran from the scene. Police said they do not know what led up to the shooting. There have been no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.
