BANGOR, Maine — The Joshua Chamberlain Bridge, a significant connector between Bangor and Brewer, was the site of a distressing incident at around 1:45 p.m. on Thursday. According to eyewitness reports, an unidentified man was seen leaping from the bridge into the Penobscot River below.
