Two Quincy men safely escape after crash on Knapheide Road ends with vehicle submerged
QUINCY — Two Quincy men safely escaped a vehicle after it crashed Wednesday night and was submerged in water along Knapheide Road. The Adams County Sheriff’s Department repoted a 2011 Toyota Camry driven by Tanner D.L. Bowen, 21, of Quincy was heading east on Knapheide Road, just west of Lyter Road. Bowen lost control of the vehicle, which left the south side of the road, went down an embankment and became submerged in water.

Quincy Police Department informational beat meeting set for Thursday in Quincy Town Center
QUINCY — The Quincy Police Department will hold an informational beat meeting at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, at the QPD sub-post by Zales in the Quincy Town Center. The purpose of this town hall meeting is to address questions and concerns in Beat 2, which includes residents and businesses north of Broadway and east of 18th Street. This meeting will only address Beat 2, but anyone is welcome to attend.
