First Alert Weather: Patchy dense fog Thursday morning
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) - Good morning and happy Thursday! If you recorded any rainfall yesterday, you have a chance to see some patchy fog this morning. The National Weather Service has issued a Dense Fog Advisory for Blount, Calhoun, Cherokee, Clay, Cleburne, Etowah, Talladega, and St. Clair counties until 9 a.m. Visibility could be reduced to a quarter of a mile or less. Make sure you allow some extra time to get to your destination this morning and use your low beams. We are also seeing patchy fog in parts of Marion, Winston, Walker, and Cullman counties. Areas to the south will likely remain fog-free.
