Woman killed in crash near Litchfield Monday morning; hundreds of other collisions reported statewide
LITCHFIELD, Minn. — A 26-year-old woman died after colliding with a freightliner Monday morning on Highway 12 near Litchfield. According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the collision occurred shortly after 7:30 a.m. near mile marker 95. While it's unclear how the crash occurred, officials are reporting the roads were covered in snow and ice. The woman was identified as Miranda Castro of Litchfield.
