Grand Rapids police captain withdraws from Ottawa County sheriff race
OTTAWA COUNTY, MI -- A Grand Rapids police captain who filed his candidacy earlier this year for Ottawa County sheriff has now withdrawn from the race. Michael Maycroft was one of three candidates seeking to become the next sheriff. An Ottawa County Clerk’s office supervisor confirmed Thursday, March 28 he had withdrawn.
