Cunningham Park’s ‘BoomTown’ under demolition
JOPLIN, Mo. — Crews at a Joplin park are tearing down a playground set to make space for a new project. Demolition could be seen Tuesday morning on the 13-year-old wooden playground known as “BoomTown” at Cunningham Park located at W. 26th St. & S. Maiden Ln. But the city says it’s for a good reason.
