FBI looking for suspect in Kansas City bank robbery Tuesday afternoon

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The FBI is attempting to locate a suspect allegedly involved in a bank robbery Tuesday afternoon in Kansas City, Missouri.

The incident was reported around 1 p.m. at the Mazuma Credit Union located near E. 94th Street and Troost Avenue, just north of Bannister Road.

According to the FBI, the suspect entered the bank and gave the teller a demand threatening an explosive device.

The suspect then left on foot with an unknown amount of money.

The suspect is described as a Black man, thin build, wearing a black hat, white t-shirt, dark shorts and a red face mask.

No injuries were reported during the incident.
