Serious Crash On Interstate 81 South, Near Airport Exit Still Affecting Traffic
A serious accident Sunday evening involving an overturned tractor trailer that occurred on Interstate 81 south near the airport exit is still affecting the flow of traffic Monday morning. Kingsport police responded to the crash around seven p.m. Sunday just before exit 63 at Airport Parkway in Kingsport. Southbound traffic is being diverted at exit 66. Due to the serious nature of the accident, the Kingsport Traffic Unit is investigating. Motorists are strongly encouraged to avoid the area.
Businesses expressing interest in developing at Fort Henry Mall
