Weekly Safety Report: Inmates Charged for Jail Riot and Motorcyclist Killed in Jonesborough, Tennessee
In Jonesborough, Tennessee, there were two incidents this week that impacted safety. The first incident involved twelve inmates at the Washington County Detention Center who were charged with aggravated riot and assault after a gang-related fight on April 22. One detention officer required medical treatment. The second incident resulted in the death of a motorcyclist in a crash with a sedan at the intersection of Old Embreeville Road and Whispering Pines Road, according to the Tennessee Highway Patrol.

Major Renovations Underway at Kingsport's Bays Mountain Park: What Local Residents Need to Know
The City of Kingsport has commenced the first phase of renovations at the Bays Mountain Park Nature Center. GRC Construction will handle the improvement works.
