Florence County deputies find 20 pounds of cocaine on bus during traffic stop
FLORENCE COUNTY, S.C. (WMBF) - Florence County deputies seized over 20 pounds of cocaine after pulling over a bus during a traffic stop Sunday morning. Florence County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on a passenger bus around 7:19 a.m. along West Lucas Street in Florence. After talking with the driver, deputies utilized their narcotic detecting K9 to conduct a free air sniff around the perimeter of the bus. The K9 alerted its handler of an odor from the lower baggage compartment.

BGCPD Names Justin McNair Youth of the Year
The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Pee Dee Area named Justin McNair of Lake City as the Pee Dee Youth of the Year during its annual Steak N Burger Dinner on March 9. Andrews mayor says he wasn’t notified EMS services would be relocated
ANDREWS, S.C. (WCSC) - In a town of over 2,500 people, the only available EMS ambulance and staff has been moved outside of the town limits of Andrews. Marie Land was presented with a Key to the City of Manning for her volunteering and many contributions to the beautification of the City of Manning for over 25 years. Arrest made in connection with February 2023 drive-by shooting
On February 02, 2023 there was a drive by shooting at 203 Reardon Street in Manning. During this shooting one of the victims (Lelanni Marie Durham) was struck by the gunfire and passed away from her injuries. On March 22, 2023 Dyontae Jevon Gamble was arrested with the assistance of the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) and the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office. Dyontae Jevon Gamble was charged with Murder, Assault and Battery 1st Degree, Possession of a Weapon During a Violent Crime, and Discharging a Firearm into a Dwelling. The Clarendon County Sheriff’s Office was of great assistance in the investigation of this case. This is an ongoing investigation.
