Lakewood family wants justice after stolen motorhome is found in shambles
A family in Lakewood is happy to have their Tiffin motorhome back in their garage, but they want justice.Jeff Sondrup, owner of the RV, says his motorhome was found on Monday at Storelocal Storage Co-op in Englewood. Credit card skimmer found at Longmont 7-Eleven
A 7-Eleven employee, at the 2250 Mountain View Ave. location, noticed the anti-tamper stickers on two pumps had been disrupted on Sunday. The employee called the Longmont Police Department which discovered the stickers on pumps 5 and 6 had been tampered with, according to the police report. The access doors for both pumps had been opened and a credit card skimmer was found on pump 5, according to Longmont Public Safety Communications and Marketing Manager Robin Ericson. The credit card skimmer was removed.

Lakewood police officer and suspect injured in shooting
A Lakewood police officer and a suspect have been taken to a hospital after both were injured by gunfire in a shooting. The other suspect was arrested around 5:45 p.m. Monday.The shooting occurred just before 3:30 p.m. near South Owens Street and West Alameda Avenue.According to a department spokesman, officers were dispatched to West Alameda Avenue South Oak Street in response to a call that a postal worker was robbed by two people. Officers found a female suspect a block away near the Grease Monkey auto repair shop.That suspect shot at officers, police say, and at least one officer fired back.
