VIDEO: Woman on Manhattan 1 train robbed at gunpoint, suspect sought

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are looking to identify a man aboard an Upper Manhattan subway train who robbed a woman's wallet at gunpoint over the weekend, authorities said.

It happened just after 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, January 28, on a northbound 1 train approaching the Dyckman Street subway station in Inwood.

According to officials, a 35-year-old woman was approached by the suspect who displayed a firearm and stole the victim’s wallet, which contained personal identification and bank cards.

The suspect fled the Dyckman Street station on foot. No injuries were reported.
