Oro Valley apartments a ‘go’
Developer Ross Rulney has been given final permission to build 132 apartment units in seven two-story buildings south of Vistoso Highlands Drive in Oro Valley. The Oro Valley Town Council voted 4-3 on March 20 to grant a zoning change on a .69-acre portion of the overall 8.7-acre parcel. Mayor Joe Winfield was joined by Councilmembers Steve Solomon, Joyce Jones-Ivey and Dr. Harry “Mo” Greene II in favor. Vice Mayor Melanie Barrett and Councilmembers Josh Nicolson and Tim Bohen voted against.
