Police: Man stabbed outside Dorchester mall walks himself to hospital
BOSTON (WHDH) - After a man was stabbed outside a Stop & Shop in Dorchester Friday night, he walked to a local hospital and is expected to survive, officials reported. The stabbing occurred outside 1100 Massachusetts Avenue in the South Bay Shopping Center around 10 p.m. after a physical altercation between two men, Boston police said.

Gun recovered after 911 call reporting man with gun
BOSTON, MA – On Thursday, at approximately 5:45 PM, officers from District B-3 responded to a call concerning an armed individual at 25 Estrella Street. A 21-year-old Mattapan resident, Javaughnee Buckmire, was arrested after a FN503 with five rounds in the magazine was recovered from behind a recycling bin near his location. Buckmire was charged with unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition, and armed robbery. He is set to be arraigned in Dorchester District Court.
