Woman in West Jordan accused of possessing nearly 12,000 fentanyl pills
SALT LAKE CITY — A federal jury has indicted a West Jordan woman on drug charges accusing her of possessing nearly 12,000 fentanyl pills. According to the District of Utah Attorney's Office, Martha Isela Navarro Chapas, 31, of West Jordan, was indicted on charges of drug possession and intention to distribute large amounts of narcotics including heroin, methamphetamine and 11,700 fentanyl pills. The office said Chapas is a "foreign national living in Utah."
