Monroe Man Arrested After Entering Walmart Strapped With Body Armor, AK-47, and 2 Handguns
On Monday, March 25, at 1:02 PM, the 911 call center received reports of a man entering Walmart (2406 W. Roosevelt Blvd) wearing body armor, a rifle, two handguns, and several loaded ammo magazines. Officers quickly arrived, entered the store, and confronted the individual, later identified as 32-year-old Moja Kemet Estep of Monroe. Estep was apprehended without further escalation or resistance. Estep was booked and charged with “Going Armed To The Terror Of The People.”

Victims killed in South Carolina head-on crash identified as Army National Guard soldiers
Two 19-year-olds killed in a crash in South Carolina have been identified as Army National Guard soldiers. The crash happened just before 4:30 p.m. March 16 on S.C. Highway 9, or Jonesville Lockhart Highway. The coroner identified the victims as Kristal Lopez, 19, and Carol Santiago, 19, both of Lancaster.
Man calls 911 after being shot while driving, police say
LANCASTER, S.C. — An 18-year-old was airlifted to the hospital after he was shot while driving in Lancaster late Monday night, investigators said. Lancaster Police responded to a reported shooting on St. Paul Street around 10:30 p.m. The victim, an 18-year-old man, told 911 that he was shot while driving down the road. Responding officers found him lying in a field, approximately 75 yards from his car on North Hughes Street.
