Woman reportedly texted employer and said her ex was holding her hostage
FARGO, N.D. (TCD) -- Police recently arrested a Minnesota man who allegedly held his ex-girlfriend hostage inside her own home in North Dakota. According to a news release from the Fargo Police Department, on Monday, April 8, shortly after 5 a.m., officers responded to the 2600 block of 14th Street South after a female victim texted her employer and said "she would not be able to come to work because she was being held hostage by her ex-boyfriend." The victim’s employer immediately contacted police.
New comedy club planned for downtown Fargo
FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) - Plans are in the works for a new comedy club in downtown Fargo. The Liquor Control Board unanimously approved a liquor license for Good Times on NP at their meeting on April 17. The Class C license allows the business to sell beer only. The owner says they will serve beer, mocktails, coffee and smoothies in a speak easy-type environment.

2024 Cleanup Week will take place the weeks of May 6-10 and 13-17 and will follow your regular trash collection AND recycling day. Residents may place unwanted debris for disposal on the boulevard in front of their properties to be disposed of by the City. Debris will be collected on residents’ scheduled recycling collection day from 7 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.
Closed Country Greenery flower shop to hold estate sale
Moorhead, Minn. (Valley News Live) - Country Greenery, a popular downtown Moorhead flower shop, is set to hold an estate sale this weekend, April 20 and 21, 2024. Back in December 2023, a sign was posted on the door simply stating, “Country Greenery is temporarily closed.” The shop never went into further detail about the closure.
