Work is proceeding on the site of T.O. Ranch, a Thousand Oaks development featuring 420 residential units and 15,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space. A construction vehicle and covered materials were seen at the vacant 12-acre site at 325 and 391 Hampshire Road Tuesday afternoon. Jack sounds good, Mike tastes good
I wrote in my previous Noteworthy (music) column that our longtime, beloved Daily Press columnist had been hospitalized for weeks with some serious health considerations. In this letter, I’ll explain why I think the Fire Department is mistaken in its belief that California Public Resources Code, Section 4291, mandates annual defensible space inspections for all homes in a High Fire Hazard Severity Zone or Very High Fire Hazard Severity Zone.
