Man shot outside Glendale restaurant; suspect on the run
GLENDALE, AZ (AZFamily) — Police are searching for a suspect after a man was shot outside a Glendale restaurant on Wednesday afternoon. Around 1 p.m., Glendale police say a man was shot multiple times in the parking lot of Pete’s Fish and Chips near 55th Drive and Glendale Avenue. According to authorities, the suspect took off from the area and hasn’t been found. The victim was rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Person struck, killed by car after running into traffic in Sun City
SUN CITY, AZ (AZFamily) — One person is dead after being struck by a car while running into oncoming traffic late Tuesday night in Sun City. According to Department of Public Safety troopers a person was struck while running across Grand Avenue near 103rd Avenue while traffic had a green light. The person was pronounced dead at the scene.
