Peoria-area gas prices increase slightly
PEORIA, Ill. – Peoria-area gas prices are slowly trickling up. GasBuddy reports that the average price of a gallon of unleaded in the area is around $3.65. The average is 2.4 cents higher than last week and 13.7 cents higher than one month ago. But it’s 82.9 cents lower than a year ago at this time.
Arson causes damage to South Peoria home

Ben Zobrist Inducted Into Greater Peoria Sports Hall of Fame
Former Cub Ben Zobrist is being honored in Peoria. The Eureka native was inducted into the Greater Peoria Sports Hall of Fame over the weekend at the Peoria Civic Center.
