PEORIA, Ill. – Peoria Police say a man was arrested Friday night in connection with a stabbing last month, but jail records say he’s already out of custody.
Police say Johnny Jackson, 50, was found at a business in East Peoria Friday and taken into custody.
Jackson allegedly stabbed another man who was trying to break up a fight at a local business Feb. 12 on MacArthur Boulevard.
That man was hospitalized with what were described at the time as life-threatening injuries.
Jackson faces two counts of Aggravated Battery, and two outstanding warrants.
