Child Heard Crying At Joliet Hotel, Parents Arrested Found With Drugs And Unconscious In Bathroom
The parents of a five-year-old girl have been charged with possession of illegal drugs and endangering the life of a child. Joliet police were called to the Best Western Hotel at 4380 Enterprise Drive for a welfare check of a child. Hotel staff reported overhearing the sound of a child crying coming from a guest room. Joliet Police Officers learned that prior to their arrival, hotel staff went to the guest room and located a five-year-old female who indicated that her mother and father were in the bathroom and have not come out. Hotel staff walked the child to the front desk.

With 18 locations in Illinois alone, Cooper’s Hawk is looking to build another location to serve the Southwest suburbs. The Mayor of Plainfield is close to announcing a major restaurant chain is coming to the out lots of the Costco store at Route 30 and I-55. Currently Olive Garden is the main restaurant there and there is word that Cooper’s Hawk is looking to move into the Boulevard Place. Cooper’s Hawk is an upscale casual restaurant and winery. According to their website, their concept includes four distinct components: an upscale casual dining restaurant, full-service bar, private dining room, and Napa-style tasting room and retail gift store.

The Bolingbrook Police Department urges motorists to “Drop It and Drive”. Law enforcement is increasing efforts to target distracted drivers. In honor of Distracted Driving Awareness Month, the Bolingbrook Police Department is partnering with the Illinois Department of Transportation, the Illinois State Police and more than 200 local law enforcement agencies to increase enforcement efforts across the state. Motorists can expect to see increased patrols and traffic safety enforcement zones throughout April.
