Funeral set for 13-year-old drowning victim
AMERICUS, Ga. (WALB) - Funeral arrangements have been made for a teen who drowned in an Americus pond on Sunday, March 24. Letia Greene was found in a pond near Arch Helms Road and Salters Mill Road after she was previously reported missing. Investigators have since ruled out foul play in her death.

NEW DETAILS: Leesburg police investigate attempted child abduction
LEESBURG, Ga. (WALB) - The Leesburg Police Department is investigating an attempted child abduction of a 6-year-old boy short after he got off of a school bus on Friday. A Ring doorbell video of that child shows him running home scared shortly after the encounter. WALB has blurred his face to protect his identity.
