Charges dropped in 2021 pistol whipping in Rochester
ROCHESTER, Minn. – Charges have been dropped against a Rochester man accused of pistol whipping a woman. Lucius John Mead, 30, was arrested in November 2021 and charged with second-degree assault with a dangerous weapon, terroristic threats, domestic assault by strangulation, possession of a firearm after being convicted of a crime of violence, intentional discharge of a firearm that endangers safety, and tampering with a witness.

ROCHESTER, Minn. - Hundreds gathered at Century High School on April 17 to attend a Community Town Hall Discussion on ‘Racism in Rochester.’. This stemmed from the racial slur on the public bridge near Century High School that happened over the weekend. Rochester man to stand trial for putting a gun to someone's head
ROCHESTER, Minn. – A man accused of putting a gun to someone’s head during a drug deal is pleading not guilty. Robert Alvin Cleaves, 21 of Rochester, is charged with second-degree assault with a dangerous weapon and possession of a firearm after being convicted of a crime of violence. A trial is scheduled to begin on October 28.
