Rochester Police Investigating Early-Morning Stabbing
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- Rochester Police are investigating a stabbing that sent a man to the hospital early Friday morning. Police Captain Casey Moilanen said officers responded to the stabbing at the Parkside Mobile Home Park at 2315 Park Ln. Southeast shortly before 5:30 a.m. Responding officers encountered the victim out front of one of the units suffering from a stab wound to the abdomen.
Wanted man arrested after jumping into the Zumbro River
OLMSTED COUNTY, Minn. – Law enforcement says a fugitive was apprehended Friday morning after jumping into the Zumbro River. The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office says it got a tip around 9:45 am about someone wanted on an outstanding warrant. Deputies were sent to the 600 block of Minnesota Avenue South and say the man ran into a wooded area, then tried to swim down the Zumbro River.

Rochester, MN Man Sentenced For Drugs & Weapons Convictions
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A Rochester man has been sentenced to five years in prison for his conviction on felony drugs and weapons-related charges. 28-year-old Demonterious Jackson earlier admitted to a third-degree drug charge and illegal possession of a firearm in connection with two incidents last November and December. He also entered a guilty plea to a DWI charge as part of the plea agreement.
