Arizona State Prison inmate dies at Banner
An inmate of Arizona State Prison in Tucson died at Banner University Medical Center Main Campus on May 29. Anthony Gamez, 28, was found hanging by a cloth sheet in his cell on May 20. A 26-year-old man was charged with multiple offenses, including second-degree murder, in the death of a man in Phoenix. Stolen Vehicle Leads to Narcotics and Firearm Arrests at Apartment Complex
On May 7, 2023, a stolen Chevy Tahoe entered an apartment complex near Park Avenue. Four occupants exited, three were detained. A fanny pack with ID and blue M30s was thrown over the wall, and a revolver was found in the driver's seat.
