Arizona men’s basketball to face Purdue in Indianapolis, per report
Arizona hasn’t gotten an invite to join the Big Ten Conference, but that league’s teams don’t mind playing the Wildcats. College basketball insider Jon Rothstein is reporting that Arizona will take on Purdue in a neutral-site game in Indianapolis. The game is tentatively set for Dec. 16 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, home of the NBA’s Indiana Pacers.

Conrad replaces former Wildcat great Taryne Mowatt-McKinney, who guided the Arizona pitchers from October 2017 until May 2023 under former head coach Mike Candrea and current head coach Caitlin Lowe.

Mason White Joins UA's Freshman All-American Honorees

A Few Sports Notes
After the end of the 2022 University of Arizona softball season. (a season where first-year coach Caitlyn Lowe took the Cats to the College World Series), two of the top players on the team transferred out. Their leaving was damaging enough, but it was multiplied multiple times by the fact that their destination was Arizona’s rival, UCLA.
