MWSU women's basketball hosts another year of camps
Missouri Western women’s basketball stayed true to tradition, hosting another year of camps for children beginning Tuesday. The camp, taking place Tuesday through Friday, hosts two sessions each day. One for girls and boys entering kindergarten through fourth grade titled “Little Griffs Camp” and the afternoon session hosts girls and boys entering fifth grade through eighth grade for the “Junior High Camp.”
St. Joseph Mustangs almost complete ninth inning comeback, fall to Chillicothe
The St. Joseph Mustangs haven’t had much time to cool down. In fact, they haven’t had a day off from competition since June 1. The Mustangs were on the road from June 4-6 where they suffered their first loss of the season to the Joplin Outlaws. Their second loss came Wednesday when the Chillicothe Mudcats, despite only having one victory on the season, shocked the Mustangs with a 7-6 victory at Phil Welch.

The St. Joseph Mustangs rallied from a four-run deficit late, but the Chillicothe Mudcats came away with a 7-6 win at Phil Welch Stadium Wednesday.
