House fire in Bedford sends two people to hospital
A house fire in Bedford sent two people who trapped in the house to the hospital on Saturday, March 23rd. Crews from the Stewartsville-Chamblissburg Volunteer Fire Department were dispatched to the house fire with entrapment on Tosh Lane. Bedford Fire Department responds to Moneta fire
On Saturday, March 23, around 2:13 pm, Bedford Fire Department was dispatched to Tosh Lane in Moneta for a reported residential structure fire with possible entrapment. Company 1 was dispatched to the location. Ladder 1 responded with Tanker 1 shortly behind them after a tanker task force was requested by the responding units. Ladder 1 arrived and initially split its crew to establish a rapid intervention team (RIT) and assist with fire attack. Ladder 1 operated on scene for approximately 3.5 hours.
