HARRISONBURG, Va. (WHSV) - The swish of the net and the pop of the ball are sounds not normally heard this time of year within the Strasburg boys soccer program. Normally, the Strasburg boys soccer program is enjoying the offseason. However, 2023 is different. The program will play in it’s first state tournament game in program history.

Preston Lattomus of Lewes, Delaware scored his second ever, Rapid Tire, USAC East Coast Sprint Car Series, Presented by Capitol Renegade Series victory at the Winchester Speedway in dominating fashion. Lattomus finished second in the event last September, in a close duel with Briggs Danner, and was able to reverse the result on Saturday night.

At the outset of the 2023 racing season at Charles Town, perennial leading rider Arnaldo Bocachica had several milestones he was looking to reach before the summer. May 20, not long after the 148th Preakness Stakes at Pimlico Race Course was made official, Bocachica attained two of his goals within the first 90 minutes of the card.
