Two Massachusetts medical institutions have received approval to establish a new regional medical campus in Burlington. UMass Chan Medical School and Lahey Hospital and Medical Center signed an agreement to establish the campus at the Burlington hospital in December. The two institutions announced Thursday they have received approval from the Liaison Committee on Medical Education, the accrediting body of medical schools in the United States and Canada.

Rifle stolen out of Mass. State Police cruiser broken into overnight in Malden
A rifle was stolen out of a Massachusetts State Police cruiser during a car break-in overnight. Police are searching for the suspect in the theft. Registration open for 2023 Bay State Summer Games
WOBURN — Registration for the 41st annual Bay State Summer Games is now open. The 2023 Summer Games will include 30 sports with competitions from June 3 to July 29 at venues throughout Eastern and Central Massachusetts, including Game On in Fitchburg, Boston Sports Institute in Wellesley, Union Point Sports Complex in Weymouth, and New England Sports Center in Marlborough. Bay State Games participants range in age from 5 to over age 75 and represent more than 300 Massachusetts communities as well as surrounding New England States in some sports.
