Woodstock Municipal Court Offering Amnesty For Certain Warrants. What We Know
Woodstock Municipal Court is offering amnesty on failure to appear bench warrants from April 22 through April 26. “If you missed a court date in the past year, you may come into the City of Woodstock Municipal Court’s office and take care of your citation without any additional penalty,” said Chief Judge Robert Tidwell. “Please note that this is not amnesty for the underlying charge; this amnesty applies to the failure to appear bench warrant that was issued when you missed your previous court date.” The amnesty week coincides with Georgia Cities Week. Payments may be made in person at Woodstock Municipal Court located in the Woodstock City Hall Annex at 12453 Highway 92 in Woodstock. Marietta Man Accused of Child Molestation
A Marietta man is accused of child molestation. Christian Gutierrez, 28, is accused of molesting a 15-year-old on March 11 between 9:30 and 10:03 p.m. at a Marietta residence, according to an arrest warrant from the Cobb County Police Department. Gutierrez is charged with two counts of child molestation felony. He was arrested March 12 at 1:45 a.m. and booked into the Cobb County Adult Detention Center, according to jail records. Gutierrez remains in custody without bond.

A Marietta man is accused of being a fugitive from malicious shooting charges in Virginia. Carlos Castillo-Jimenez, 20, of Marietta is accused of being a fugitive from a malicious shooting charges by Waynesboro City, Virginia. Castillo-Jimenez was located in Cobb County on March 28 at Cobb County State Court, 12 E. Park Square in Marietta, according to an arrest warrant by the Cobb County Sheriff’s Office. Castillo-Jimenez is charged with being a fugitive. Castillo-Jimenez was arrested on March 28 at 9:30 a.m. and booked into the Cobb County Adult Detention Center, according to jail records. Castillo-Jimenez remains in custody without bond. The State of Virginia intends to extradite.
